Thankfully, the restrictions on numbers of volunteers attending Toddington have now been lifted and we can go "full steam ahead" - at least with our work programme if not yet with the loco itself!

Other work completed thus far
Wheelsets back from South Devon and painting underway,
Valve chest boring completed,
Preparations for cylinder chest boring,
Removal of frame stretcher ( new stretcher manufactired and installed ) and rear buffer beam ready for riveting on new parts.
We have continued on removing wasted metal from the frames and working towards replacing some of it
We have also been working on fund rasing initatives and increasing our membership ( see our membership page and how to support us.
